Mediplas is a uniquely focused event for the highly specialised area of manufacturing plastic parts for the medical industry.
Mediplas differentiates itself from general plastics shows, as it brings to the forefront the aspects and considerations of medical device manufacturing that do not feature in production for other industries. Furthermore, it is distinct from existing medical device shows because it specialises in plastics – the new material of choice as bio-compatible plastics and polymer compounds continue to replace metals and ceramics in all industries, especially medical.
With an ageing population, improvements in plastics technology together with the development of increasingly innovative medical devices, the medical sector has in fact become one of the fastest growing areas for plastics with its future growth widely predicted to continue.
Taking place at the heart of UK manufacturing with the highest concentration of medical device manufacturers virtually on its doorstep, Mediplas provides an essential forum for the sector. Bringing together a host of industry experts to offer practical advice and guidance for manufacturers from initial concepts and design ideas, through to materials and process optimisation, Mediplas offers an unrivalled marketplace to both present and discover the very best in medical plastics solutions.
Co-locating in 2013 with a range of complementary design and manufacturing events that include the TCT Show + personalize, Sensing & Instrumentationand Micro Nano Mems, Mediplas will unite exhibitors with over 5000 visitors - many of whom will be representing the biggest and best known names in the medical device sector.
Couple all this with an increased visitor marketing programme, a bigger exhibition floor plan and an enhanced conference programme, and you can be certain that Mediplas is the one event not to be missed in 2013.

Mediplas was a good addition to our exhibition strategy for 2012. We had the perfect opportunity to get in front of companies who had a genuine interest in our Connect 2 Cleanrooms Modular Cleanroom Solutions. Sean Fryers, Connect to Cleanrooms
We were very impressed with both the number and quality of leads on both days. We were kept very busy with the interesting new applications for our range of plasma surface treatment equipment and we have already reserved our place at next year's show on the back of this.
